O- Ring Measuring Cone The Handy o-ring measuring cone is an efficient tool that helps you identify BS Standard O-Ring size numbers instantly. It is designed to measure 184 of the most widely used O-Ring sizes in 5 standard widths, ranging from 1/4″ ID to 5-5/8″ ID. Made of high density polyurethane, the cone stands 17-1/2″ high and is built to last. To use the cone, look for the slots located at the base of the cone. These slots are used to determine the cross-section of your O-Ring. Simply place your O-Ring in the slots without forcing it and find the largest slot into which your O-Ring fits. Once you have found the right slot, you can easily determine the “series” your O-Ring belongs to by looking at the raised numbers above the chosen cross-section slot.
