DescriptionCOMBINED BUND & OVERFILL TANK ALARMBattery or mains powered versions availableSimple operating principle; A float switch is suspended inside the tank, just off of the bund floor. The other float switch is positioned at the level you want to set as a maximum level. These are factory attached to the alarm with a cable of 2m in length. In the event of the bund starting to fill with fluid, when the float is raised by the fluid this will cause an audible alarm to sound. The alarm can be silenced whilst the offending rise in liquid is being investigated and corrected. The overfill float switch acts in the same manner should the high level get reached during the filling of the tank.Battery version is available for fitting to a tank where mains power is not accessible, with these versions you would need to add it to a maintenance schedule to check that the battery is still working.
